Oslo City Shopping Center is one of Norway's most visited shopping centres - the capital's hub for trains, trams, subways and buses. With more than 11 million visitors a year and 1,000 employees, fire safety and security have the highest priority for the shopping centre.

Oslo City was completed in 1988 and since then it has been one of Norway's most attractive shopping centres with 11 million visits a year. The centre currently includes 85 shops and restaurants over five floors, and is a workplace for over 1,000 people. Oslo City is owned by the Scandinavian shopping centre company Steen & Strøm, which in turn is owned by the Dutch pension fund APG and the French shopping centre group Klépierre.
