Caverion has signed an agreement with the Foundation for Student Housing in the Helsinki Region (Hoas) on the technical maintenance of student housing properties owned by Hoas. The agreement is a continuation to ongoing cooperation for a fixed term of two years at first and then until further notice.
“Hoas’s housing strategy is based on an occupant-centric approach and comfort of living. Property maintenance and the conditions in the buildings have a significant impact on the comfort of living. Caverion has been maintaining our buildings for a long time and we wanted to renew our service contract with them, as this clearly supports our objectives,” says Kim Lindholm, Property Manager at Hoas.
The service agreement covers the scheduled maintenance and repairs for the heating and sanitation, ventilation and air conditioning, cooling and electricity systems, conversions and repairs for the building structures, and occupancy inspections. The scope of the agreement covers over 100 properties comprising approximately 9,200 apartments and 18,000 occupants.
“We have a long history of cooperation with Hoas. As Hoas is revising its property strategy, we are happy to be given an opportunity to participate with a new operating model. A partnership taken to a whole new level will help us to provide a service offering that supports Hoas’s strategy,” says Vice President Raimo Ojanen from Caverion.
